Kiloran was launched in September 2014 for the Southampton Boat Show, she has had light owner use the first year and from May 2016 she will be offered for charter in Sardinia & Corsica. Kiloran is named after a bay on the Island of Colonsay, West of Scotland which is the owner's family's favourite place. Discovery Yachts was founded in 1998 and set out to create the world’s most perfect blue-water cruising yachts designed to take two people around the world on the ultimate journey of discovery. Kiloran is the first of the Mk II models the hull & mast were kept the same as the original 55 and flush hatches have been introduced along with a sleeker deckhouse design giving the windows a more modern wraparound look, enhancing the already excellent view from the saloon. Port lights have also been enlarged to make the interior even airier and the saloon layout has been opened up. Kiloran is fitted with a contemporary interior; redesigned to allow maximum daylight exposure and increase comfort along with style. With a well ventilated and practically designed galley, a raised and spacious saloon, a king-size main cabin, a double cabin, 2 generous single bunk berths and 2 modern shower rooms. All areas have modern joinery.
Kiloran has a 3 cabin layout, making her incredibly comfortable for 4 guests and 1 or 2 crew depending on your preference. Your main cabin is the large aft master cabin with super-king bed & en-suite and you can choose between the forward double and bunk cabin depending on the needs of your group, the crew will sleep in the other cabin and they both share the forward heads. Kiloran has been fitted with all the extras; generator, air-conditioning & water-maker.

High Season - July & August €11,000 per week + APA & VAT
Mid Season - June & September €10,000 per week + APA & VAT
Low season - €9,000 per week + APA & VAT
Captain only rates add €1,500 per week for hostess/chef

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) - all expenses related to fuel and water consumption, food, beverages and alcoholic drinks, port and canal fees, are extra. Customarily in crewed charters, the client pays a lump sum amount for all these extra charges up front. It goes without saying that if at the end of the charter APA is not exhausted, the remaining balance is returned to the client. On the other hand in case more expenses have occurred, the client is kindly requested to make up the balance on the spot.
APA is €1500 for Captain only and €3,000 for hostess/chef per week.
